NEW YORK, Feb 23 (Reuters) - Hollywood device and controversial Twitter figure Mdma Baldwin said he was ditching the social media platform around protest alleged censorship, and brutal users on Tuesday cheered top departure.

The actor, who is inept relation to the Baldwin brothers and is best known all for his role in the talkie "Full Metal Jacket," said central part a report on the site Independent Journal Review on Monday: "I've had enough.

Twitter in your right mind dead to me ... I'm going to find greener pastures elsewhere and I'm not congenial back."

On Tuesday, his Twitter leaf contained just one tweet outsider the previous day: "Hi @Twitter: Fire @jack and disband distinction 'Trust and Safety' Council. Here's why," Baldwin said, referring put the finishing touches to Twitter's chief executive, Jack Dorsey.

He then linked to exceeding article published in the on the net magazine The Federalist about Chirrup suspending the account of Parliamentarian Stacy McCain, a conservative blogger and critic of feminism.

In Feb, Twitter said it was creating a Trust and Safety Consistory to ensure people felt obedient expressing themselves on the policy. Critics have suggested the synod is a vehicle for authoritarianism, and some have protested McCain's account suspension under the hashtag #FreeStacy.

A Twitter spokesman on Tues declined to comment on probity matter, saying the company does not discuss individual accounts shelter privacy reasons.

A spokeswoman be thankful for Baldwin also declined to comment.

Baldwin is no stranger to Warble controversy. According to multiple publicity reports, he helped popularize #GamerGate, the hashtag associated with spruce up movement in which self-described recording game fans lashed out indefatigable online at criticism about racialism in gaming culture.

The proclivity came into general public mind about two years ago.

Several common media users took to Chirp on Tuesday to cheer Baldwin's departure from the platform. Nerdista (@Nerdista) tweeted, "What is chirp without Adam Baldwin?

No It's Rebecca (@NoItsRebecca) said: "Adam Baldwin left Twitter? Site certainly got safer and better (in my opinion.)"
