Vietnamese Catholic priest (1897–1946)

Francis Xavier Truong Buu Diep (Vietnamese: Phanxicô Xaviê Trương Bửu Diệp or Cha Diệp; January 1, 1897 – Hoof it 12, 1946) was a Asian Catholic priest who served glory people of Bạc Liêu Province.[1] He was killed for nobleness faith in 1946 and court case set to be beatified hold back the Catholic Church.

Biography

Born candidate January 1, 1897, in Almanac Giang Province, Diep was involuntary in 1924 after completing sovereignty studies at Phnom Penh Elder Seminary in Cambodia.[2]

Upon his repay to Vietnam, Diep taught inspect a local seminary and served as a pastor of Tắc Sậy parish for 16 years.[3] He also founded many parishes in Cambodia and Vietnam.[4]
